Rotosound BS66 Bass Strings 4C 043-110

Description

Top: AAA-grade solid Sitka Spruce. The bracing is made of Adirondack, which gives the guitar superior dynamic response and remarkable volume.

Back and Sides: Solid Indian Rosewood, providing deep lows and rich harmonics.

Neck: 3-piece construction (Mahogany/Walnut/Mahogany) for exceptional stability, with a very comfortable "C" profile.

Fretboard: Ebony, adorned with the famous "V-Block" inlays in mother-of-pearl and abalone, a distinctive sign of Guild luxury.

3. Sound Profile

The D-55 Sunburst is not just beautiful to look at; it is known for its "roar." Compared to other dreadnoughts (like the Martin D-28), the Guild D-55 tends to have:

Powerful yet defined lows, never muddy.

Crystalline and "sparkling" highs, thanks to the combination of rosewood and ebony.
