The SY-200 transforms your guitar or bass into a versatile analog-flavored synthesizer, ready to infuse your music with dynamic, attractive, and evocative new voices. This efficient pedal offers a total of 171 sounds organized into 12 intuitive categories, along with adjustable parameters to customize the tone and response. And with 128 memory locations, you can save your favorite sounds and recall them instantly during performance.

Quickly Build Your Sounds

Thanks to the SY-200's informative display and practical controls, recalling sounds and balancing the levels of the direct sound and the synthesizer sound is fast and quick. All preset synthesizer tones have been designed by BOSS engineers to offer inspiration and immediate playability. But if you want to go further, you can modify three different parameters for each sound using the dedicated knobs.

Flexible Connectivity

The SY-200 easily integrates into your setup in a variety of ways. Connect it to your signal chain like a normal pedal or use the send and output jacks to route the synthesizer and guitar sounds to different destinations. And with the send/return loop and level knobs, you can create unique hybrid tones, combining one or more pedals in parallel with different synth voices.

Powerful Real-time Control

The SY-200 provides a wide range of control options, occupying very little space on your pedalboard. Two customizable footswitches offer multi-function operation with "press-and-hold" functionality, allowing you to activate/deactivate the synth, scroll through memories, alter pitch, sustain the synth sound, and much more. Expanded control is possible via external footswitches or an expression pedal, and MIDI input and output are also available, allowing you to interface with other pedals and MIDI devices, such as ES-8 and ES-5 loop switchers.

Plug-&-Play and Zero Latency

You can use the SY-200 with any guitar and bass; just connect a standard 1/4" cable and start creating. Thanks to custom DSP and the latest BOSS innovations, you'll enjoy latency-free performance that is a natural extension of your instrument, allowing you to play freely, without altering your usual technique in any way.
