Outstanding Versatility

Featuring a vast selection of delays, the DD-8 brings an impressive range of sounds into a small pedal. Clean digital delays, vintage analog and tape types, and modulated echoes are all at your disposal, along with special delays like shimmer and reverse. There's a new Warm type for creating echoes with a softer character, and a +RV type that blends delay and reverb. Warp is perfect for creating dynamic ambient atmospheres, while the new GLT type is extraordinary for bouncy rhythmic effects.

Stereo to the Max

Everything sounds better and bigger in stereo, and the DD-8 supports stereo inputs and outputs, and your choice of three output modes. The default independent mode offers delays connected in parallel on the left and right channels, allowing you to maintain the true balance of stereo input sources in the effect sound. There's also a panning mode for creating ping-pong delay effects, and a wide stereo mode that enhances spatial depth.

Unleash Your Expressiveness.

The DD-8's vast real-time delay options bring your music to life. You can set tempos by tapping them on the built-in footswitch, and control Warp and GLT modes to create unique expressive effects. Adding one or two footswitches gives you even more creative possibilities, such as the ability to tap tempo at any time, greater looper control, and an interesting Twist effect for creating crescendo echo sounds. Or, an expression pedal can be used for continuous control of level, repeats, or delay time—or all three simultaneously.

Built-in Looper

Having a looper in your pedalboard offers exciting possibilities: it's great for practice, for checking sounds at gigs, and for creating on-the-fly backing tracks while performing. The DD-8's looper mode performs all these functions, so you don't have to take up valuable space with a dedicated pedal. All looper functions can be controlled with the internal footswitch, allowing independent operation. But if you prefer to work with extended controls, simply connect one or two footswitches to externally control the looper's stop and clear functions.

Smart I/O for Easy Setup

The DD-8's inputs and outputs have smart functionalities that allow you to set up the pedal for any application simply by connecting cables in different ways. A variety of mono and stereo connections are supported, including separate dry and effect outputs for wet/dry setups. It's even possible to completely bypass the dry signal, perfect for blending the unique delay sound into a parallel effects loop.
