Great care has been taken in designing the Edge to achieve new sound creation possibilities by reviving timeless analogue designs and technologies. Taking a fresh and modern approach to classic circuits, the Edge gives you the power to create super tight percussive sounds over dark and moody basslines. Built to enhance the way you perform, the Edge boasts a pure analogue signal path, Dual VCOs with pulse and triangle waves, oscillator sync and FM plus a white/pink noise source for a vast range of sounds and timbres. Its dual 8-stage sequencer with pitch and velocity controls can also give you a degree of control that will allow you to create any groove and rhythm you can imagine. If that weren't enough, the Edge's sequencer can reach an incredible 10,000 BPM so you can turn your beats into mind-bending waveforms that will surprise even the most die-hard synth wave fan.

The Edge has a whole host of modulations and controls that can help you shape your beats and basslines and give them the ability to transcend dimensions or just sound really, really cool. These include a 24 dB multi-mode resonant ladder filter with a low-pass and high-pass filter and three separate decay envelopes for pitch, filter cutoff, and amplitude for detailed control. Thanks to its semi-modular design, the Edge can instantly work with its default routing. But if you need much more control and want to sculpt your sound even further, the Edge features a 15x10 I/O matrix for incredibly vast and flexible patching options. The matrix includes inputs for control voltages, decay, trigger, velocity, noise level, external audio sources, tempo, modulation, and much more.

The Edge has 44 controls to give you direct, real-time access to all important parameters, all arranged in a highly intuitive format that puts the fun back into creating your beat. Input and output connections include MIDI In, MIDI Out/Thru, USB, OSC 1 CV, OSC 2 CV, OSC Decay, ADV/Clock, Trigger, Velocity, Noise Level, 1-2FM AMT, EXT Audio, Tempo, Play/Stop, VCF MOD, VCF Decay, VCA CV and Pitch. An external MIDI keyboard, a footswitch or an expression pedal can be connected to the Edge so you have even more control over the beats and bass lines. If one Edge is not enough for you, you can chain multiple Edges for more complex combinations.
