It combines two independent instrument inputs with custom EQs, built-in overdrive, PZB booster for piezo pickups, Drag Control to optimize impedance, and balanced XLR outputs with ground lift for clean connections to PA or recording systems.

Radial Bassbone OD is a bass preamp with dual input and advanced features that combine dedicated EQs, integrated overdrive, and balanced DI output. Each channel has custom tonal control, with a high-pass filter and the ability to adapt impedances for both magnetic and piezo pickups thanks to the PZB booster and Drag Control. The effects loop and wet/dry overdrive controls offer timbral flexibility without sacrificing low-frequency clarity, while the balanced XLR output with ground lift ensures clean connections to PA or recording.

Bassbone OD with two basses

Switch from your favorite vintage bass to your active 5-string using the middle footswitch and send the signal to your amp. Mute the signal using the right footswitch to silently tune on stage using the tuner output.

Bassbone OD with electric bass and double bass

Whether you play jazz, pop, or orchestral music, the Bassbone OD allows you to switch from a passive bass with magnetic pickups to a double bass with a piezoelectric pickup, optimizing the sound for each instrument. Add effects to your signal path using the integrated effects loop.

Combine two pickups and mix them together

Connect the TRS (stereo output) from your dual-element bass to combine a magnetic pickup with a piezo using the blend switch. Set the levels and tone for each pickup according to your needs. The Bassbone OD works as a 2-channel mini mixer!
