The Z2 series has been designed for demanding students; all instruments in this series offer a smooth response, allowing musicians to concentrate on the quality of each individual sound. The ease of playing that characterizes these instruments is also due to the original, handmade ALTUS Z-Cut headjoint. In the Z2 series, the headjoint is entirely made of Sterling Silver (925), thus ensuring easy articulation and a powerful and precise sound focus. The professional mechanism with French-style pointed arms guarantees greater stability, especially during periods of intense activity. Z2 series flutes are available in open-hole, closed-hole, with and without split E, and C-foot or B-foot variations.
