The Z1 series has been designed for demanding students; all instruments in this series offer a smooth response, allowing musicians to focus on the quality of each individual sound. The ease of playing that characterizes these instruments is also due to the original handcrafted ALTUS Z-Cut headjoint. The Sterling Silver (925) lip plate and riser, and the characteristic angled shape of the embouchure hole, create a perfect balance between tonal character, control, and ease of emission. Furthermore, French pointed key arms, a standard found on flutes for demanding professionals, guarantee a clear and precise mechanical response.
