AZUMI S3 series flutes differ from the S2 series in the choice of materials; all S3 models have a headjoint and body made of Britannia silver (958). They are inspired by ALTUS professional flutes and offer the musician a rich and expressive sound combined with excellent ease of playability and a consistent response throughout the instrument's range. The S-Cut headjoint is handmade, characterized by its oval embouchure hole and increased blowing resistance, allowing the musician to produce a personal, colorful, and expressive sound across all dynamic possibilities of the instrument. S2 series flutes are available with open holes, closed holes, with and without split E mechanism, B foot or C foot.
