Spirit
The Aston Spirit is a high-performance, switchable-pattern microphone, utilising a 1” gold evaporated capsule. A switch on the microphone body selects between Omni, Cardioid or Figure-of-Eight polar patterns. It is versatile enough to be used with most instruments and excels at acoustic guitar and vocals. The capsule, selected by the Aston 33 committee, is paired with a high-quality balanced transformer circuit, using only the finest components.
The Spirit model is designed to deliver a wonderfully open sound with brilliant harmonics. This extremely accurate microphone allows for surprisingly natural and transparent recordings, capturing all the high-end detail without the harshness that some condenser microphones seem to add.

The Aston Swift shock mount is not only elegant and specifically designed to showcase your microphone in all its glory, thanks to its open-front design, but it also boasts the world's fastest mounting system. Combined with Aston's internal shock absorption system, Swift delivers exceptional performance in seconds.
The Shield SM filter easily attaches and detaches from the Swift mount, allowing for quick transitions from vocal applications to instrumental recording. Using Aston's Hextech acid etching process, the Shield filter provides excellent plosive (pop) control without compromising the tone of your recordings.
The combined SwiftShield solution is the perfect partner for getting the best performance from your Origin microphone (as well as looking truly fabulous!).
