Arturia is releasing the MicroFreak Stellar Limited Edition, a version of the now "classic" Arturia MicroFreak that includes new granular synthesis and sampling engines, all with a striking look, in a limited edition of only a few units worldwide.

Arturia's hybrid synthesizer, which has been and continues to be a great success thanks to the perfect combination of digital oscillators with analog filters and its capacitive keyboard with polyphonic aftertouch, is destined to become a milestone in its category, and this new limited edition is also perfect for collectors.
This small but powerful synth also offers all the versatility of wavetable synthesis to create interesting new sounds with extreme ease. Modes such as Texturer, KarplusStrong, Harmonic OSC, and Superwave offer musicians the opportunity to explore totally new and unprecedented creative possibilities. Perfect for both young musicians and experienced professionals, MicroFreak's powerful and flexible synthesis engine features physical modeling, wavetable, and virtual analog synthesis.
The MicroFreak's filter is based on the 12dB Oberheim SEM filter, is state-variable, and also features self-oscillation. There are no limits to filter management: you can automate the cutoff by modulating it with keyboard pressure and the built-in sequencer, but also use it to best emphasize the sounds generated by wavetable synthesis. Record up to four automations, edit notes step-by-step, or use the sequencer's innovative Spice and Dice functions. Add randomization to create original evolving patterns and virtually rewire and reconfigure the signal chain and controls with the 5x7 modulation matrix. Whether you're looking for your first hardware synthesizer or are an insider looking for original sounds and a unique interface, MicroFreak is the synthesizer you need.
