Arturia redefines the portable keyboard experience with KeyStep. For those who have MIDI modules to connect but don't need a large keyboard; for those who have modular systems or other analog hardware and want to control them via CV/GATE; for those who need a step sequencer with polyphony features to sync with modern or vintage devices: the KeyStep controller does all this and much more. Arturia has designed a new type of keyboard, combining the best features of a compact keyboard with mini-keys while maintaining the playability of a 'full-size' keyboard. The size, velocity, and aftertouch of this new design guarantee the total freedom of a portable system without sacrificing functionality.In addition, Arturia has also integrated a brand new polyphonic step-sequencer with 8 programmable memories that can be recalled with a simple turn of a knob. Gate times and swing can be set simply and immediately to change sequenced performances 'on the fly', and recording, overdub, and transposition functions have also been implemented, all in real-time while continuing to play the keyboard live. As if that weren't enough, KeyStep also includes an extremely flexible and fun arpeggiator, with a chord play mode that guarantees hours and hours of unprecedented musical experimentation. These features alone would be enough to make the KeyStep the best portable keyboard controller on the market. But Arturia went even further by adding many more connectivity options.
