Amplug BM is Vox's battery-powered portable mini amplifier for electric guitar, a signature model by Brian May of Queen. It accurately reproduces Brian's original tone, based on an AC30 with an activatable treble boost via a switch, chorus, phaser, and delay effects with tap tempo that recall the same effects used by the guitarist. It also features Gain, Volume, and Tone controls, a headphone output, an aux input, and rhythmic patterns with original audio files from the band's most iconic songs. You can play with a stadium sound in your living room while listening through headphones.

With the amPlug Brian May guitar headphone amplifier, you can get the classic tone of the legendary guitarist anytime, anywhere, through any standard pair of headphones. Developed by Vox in collaboration with Brian May, the amPlug's AC30 + Treble Booster setting is literally "Brian May's tone in the palm of your hand." Designed to recreate the unique sound of Brian's Red Special and cranked AC30 signal chain (not forgetting the sixpence), Vox's mission with this special edition amPlug was to make Brian's instantly recognizable tone accessible to everyone. But the amPlug Brian May doesn't just deliver the tone. Thanks to a series of backing rhythms, including the stomps and claps from "We Will Rock You," you can listen to classic tracks through your headphones. The "Brighton Rock" stereo delay setting, with tap tempo, allows you to get lost in a wall of AC30, channeling Brian May's call-and-response work on tracks like "Brighton Rock" and "Now I'm Here." The amPlug's phaser effect also allows you to recreate Brian's swirling live sound, transporting you to the Wembley stage, circa 1985, from the comfort of your home. A rich chorus completes the trio of on-board effects, carefully designed to make Brian May's iconic sounds available to all guitarists. All you have to do is connect the amPlug to your guitar via the built-in jack and plug in a pair of standard headphones, and you'll be ready to rock.
