The tonal landscape of this instrument is enriched by a solid Italian Spruce top paired with 3-ply laminated Koa back and sides. The cutaway and 14th fret body joint allow for agile access to higher frets, a very useful feature for lead guitarists. The Alps comes in a Natural color with a Glossy finish and features Grover 3L/3R machine heads. A particularly important feature is the presence of a very high-performance amplification system, the Fishman Flex Blend: composed of a piezo pickup and an internal condenser microphone, this system allows you to capture every nuance of the guitar thanks to the possibility of gradually adding the signal picked up by the microphone to the piezo signal, via a "blend" potentiometer. Among the controls, in addition to the output Volume and blend, there is a display tuner (activatable by pressing the volume potentiometer) and an EQ control that works in "mid-scooped" mode: when set to minimum, the signal is not equalized (flat), and increasing it gradually reduces the mid frequencies in favor of bass and treble, very convenient for obtaining a sound already "ready" for the mix.
