When Chord Cruiser mode is activated, the exclusive algorithm selects and suggests various musically compatible chords from its database. You can audition these chords and assign your favorite to the keyboard, automatically activating the next suggestion.

Running Direction Function

Change the playback direction of sequenced 4x4 step patterns with a single button press.

To discover new phrases and rhythms, choose from 4 options: right, down, clockwise, and counter-clockwise. This function sparks new ideas, allowing you to create innovative chord progressions or explore rhythms by navigating different genres.

145 Preset Sounds + 16 Drum Kits

Designed for a wide range of genres, you can bring new ideas to life during the creative process by drawing from 145 preset sounds and 16 drum kits.

Adjust the preset sounds to your liking using a low-pass filter and the amplifier envelope. These parameters can be automated on each pattern, allowing you to dynamically change the tone and chord progression. This will enable you to create vivid phrasing.

Key and Scale Settings

When you set the key and scale on Chordcat, only notes belonging to the selected key and scale are mapped to the keyboard.

The compatibility of suggested chords with Chord Play mode or Chord Cruiser mode and the selected key and scale is indicated by LED lights. Perfect for both beginners and professional musicians.

16 Patterns: Create and save up to 16 unique phrases for each track and produce dynamic song arrangements. The Pattern Chain function also allows you to play patterns in the designated sequence for seamless transitions.

128 Steps (8 bars): The precise arrangement of sounds within a 16-step (1 bar) x 8-page setup allows you to create detailed sequences and timings for your compositions.
