Alpha-Omega 200 is the 200W bass head developed by Darkglass to achieve the classic Darkglass tone in a more compact format, perfect for home study and live performances where too much power is not needed.

The Alpha-Omega 200 features Aux-in and headphone output for quiet practice and an intuitive push potentiometer for mute and master control. The pre/post-bypassed XLR DI output with switchable ground lift makes these amplifiers reliable for all types of musicians with a wide range of possibilities.

Front Panel Features

INPUT
Use this jack to connect your instrument via a standard ¼" mono cable.

DRIVE
This knob controls the amount of distortion delivered by the Alpha-Omega Engine. It covers a wide range of overdrive tones, from subtle breakup to excessively distorted sounds.

MOD
Selects or blends the two distinct distortion circuits: Alpha is incisive, tight and very defined, while Omega is simply brutal and raw.
BLEND
Use this knob to blend the clean and distorted (Alpha-Omega Engine) signals.

BASS
+-12dB at 80Hz. Use this knob to modify the low-frequency content of the signal.

MIDS
+-12dB at 1kHz. This knob controls the mid-range content of the signal.
TREBLE
+-12 dB at 5 kHz. Use this knob to modify the high-end content of the signal.

Master/Mute
Use this knob to control the overall volume of the amplifier. Use this knob to mute the amplifier.

Rear Panel Features

SPEAKER OUTPUT
Use this output to connect the amplifier to the cabinet. This Speakon combo jack allows the use of Speakon or ¼" speaker cables.
GROUND LIFT
Use this control to lift the ground of the XLR DI output. If you experience ground noise in the DI signal, try changing the setting of this control.
DI OUTPUT
Use this connector to send the bypass signal to the console, microphone preamplifier, interface, etc. The DI OUTPUT only provides the bypass DI signal.
AC SOCKET
Use this connector to power the amplifier. 100 - 230 VAC, 50-60Hz.
AC POWER ON/OFF
Use this switch to turn the head on or off
HEADPHONE OUTPUT
Connect your headphones and enjoy the impulse-based cabinet emulation.
AUX IN
Use this connector to play music from your laptop, phone, MP3 player, etc. This input is routed only to the headphone output.
