The ZED-12FX offers 6 full mono channels and 6 stereo channels to meet the market's demand for compact mixers with a good number of channels. Like other ZED series models, the ZED-22FX also incorporates a USB connection, with two-track send and return, for playback, recording, and effects directly from a computer. The 16 mono channels use the acclaimed Allen&Heath 'DuoPre' two-stage preamplifier, a three-band MusiQ EQ with semi-parametric mids, and 100mm faders. The stereo inputs have a 2-band EQ and inputs for an extra source. There are 4 aux sends accessible from both mono and stereo channels. All in a compact, rack-mountable format. The ZED-12FX also offers an effects processor with Tap Tempo Delay, 24-bit/48kHz conversion, and a set of 16 effects derived directly from Allen & Heath iLive systems. ZED Mixers are manufactured to professional standards, with all potentiometers secured to the front panel for maximum robustness, and high-quality components such as Neutrik XLR and Jack connectors.
