Alesis Q88 MKII is a MIDI controller with 88 full-size, velocity-sensitive, synth-action keys.

This USB bus-powered MIDI controller has everything you need to make your performance unique: Octave and Transpose buttons to access the full piano range, Pitch Bend and Modulation for greater expression, and Transport buttons to control key functions of your favorite software or DAW.

The Alesis Q88 MK2 88-key MIDI keyboard is the updated version of the Q88. It features an 88 semi-weighted, velocity-sensitive keyboard and is powered via USB (or by an external power supply, not included, if needed).

The rich set of downloadable software that accompanies this MIDI keyboard is matched by the number of buttons and controls that will help the producer bring their ideas to life. These include wheels for pitch bend and modulation control, buttons for transposing semitones and octaves, transport buttons for DAW management, and an assignable slider configured to control the volume parameter.

In addition to the power switch and the USB type B port for power and MIDI data transmission, the rear panel features an input for a sustain pedal and another dedicated to connecting an expression pedal (pedals not included), as well as a DIN-type MIDI output to control expanders and other traditional instruments equipped with a MIDI input.

For added expression, there's also a Sustain pedal input and a re-assignable slider for quick parameter control.
