The Alesis Harmony 61 MKIV is a portable 61-key keyboard with built-in 2.5W (x2) speakers, designed for learning and home use. The 61-key keyboard prioritizes accessibility and correct hand positioning in the early stages of learning, while the maximum 24-note polyphony allows for the execution of harmonic patterns and basic accompaniments without perceptible interruptions.The sound generation includes 300 timbres organized by instrumental families: pianos and mallets, organs, guitars and basses, strings and ensembles, winds and brass, synths, ethnic instruments, drum kits, and effects. Layer mode allows for the controlled overlapping of two sounds with independent level adjustment, while Split mode assigns a second voice to the lower section (last two octaves), making piano/bass or lead/pad performance possible in a didactic configuration.The 300 accompaniment rhythms cover Pop, Rock, Dance, Jazz, Latin, World, and Electronic genres. Intro/End, Fill, and Fade functions are available, as well as Auto-Chord management in Single or Fingered mode. Automatic synchronization allows the rhythmic pattern to start when the first note is pressed in the chord recognition zone, optimizing the interaction between the student and the backing track.The Record function allows for the recording of a user song with up to 294 note events, useful for self-assessment and teaching. The internal metronome, adjustable from 40 to 280 BPM, allows for the management of rhythmic subdivisions. Global transposition of ±6 semitones facilitates adaptation to different keys without changing fingerings.From a hardware perspective, the integrated amplification system delivers a total of 5W (2 x 2.5W), suitable for home use. The headphone output automatically mutes the internal speakers for silent practice.
