The 600-DR-EVO IV brings the classic Ashdown sound to the stage in a 3U rack chassis, with a 600-watt power amplifier and an extremely flexible analog preamplifier. The Valve Drive with a 12AX7 tube allows for a range from the cleanest transparency to a rich, harmonically-driven overdrive, while the new 9-band EQ (rotary Bass/Middle/Treble + 6 sliders: 100 Hz, 180 Hz, 340 Hz, 1.3 kHz, 2.6 kHz, 5 kHz) enables refined tonal shaping.

The dynamic section is completed by a one-knob compressor for a smooth and present signal in the mix and the Sub-Harmonic generator, which adds a lower octave for fuller and more authoritative lines. The Dual VU meters provide immediate monitoring of Input and Output, facilitating correct gain staging during practice and live performances.
