63U is the high-G tenor ukulele string set from Aquila Corde Armoniche's Bio Nylon series. This set is made with Bionylon® monofilaments, a synthetic material discovered by Aquila Corde that reduces carbon dioxide emissions by 50% during synthesis. It delivers a dark, soft sound with great expressiveness.

Overview of Aquila Corde Armoniche's Bio Nylon series

Bionylon® is the world's first eco-friendly synthetic string made in natural pearl color. Bionylon® monofilaments (which is a material discovered by Aquila and manufactured into string form with the brand's proprietary equipment) possess excellent mechanical and acoustic properties. Bionylon® is 63% plant-derived (castor oil). This has allowed for a greater than 50% reduction in carbon dioxide emitted into the atmosphere during the material's chemical synthesis operations compared to other Nylons used as musical strings.
