To achieve perfect tuning stability within a few minutes, it is advisable to pull each single string halfway along its length during the tuning phase. Stop the operation only when the string does not drop in frequency any further.

Warning: Like gut, Nylgut® is a cut-sensitive material. Before fitting the strings, ensure that the grooves on the nut and bridge are shallow, perfectly smooth and free of sharp edges. Otherwise, use 600-grit sandpaper or fine-grade steel wool.
