Description

The ARP 2600 M analog synthesizer is approximately 60% the size of the FS (full scale) version and is lighter, more portable, and can be conveniently placed in any studio, console, or desk.

Proudly designed and manufactured in Japan by KORG, the ARP 2600 M was built using the same analog circuit and components as the ARP 2600 FS, for a faithful reproduction of the characteristic ARP sound, with the addition of some interesting functions and features that make it even more versatile and aligned with current musical contexts.

Supplied with an elegant black trolley, the ARP 2600M offers the iconic semi-modular analog sound in a compact and evolved format, to meet the current needs of musicians, performers, sound designers and producers, as it comes with DIN MIDI IN ports, USB B for computer connection and USB MIDI type A for direct connection of class-compliant keyboard controllers. Two selectable filters (4012 type, 4072 type) derived from two different versions of the original ARP are included.  

    
• Plug & play: connect any class-compliant USB MIDI controller such as KORG microKey, nanokey, or SQ-64 to one of the ARP 2600 M's USB ports for full control of your instrument!
    
• Smaller: the compact format allows for a better overview of patch connections and lets you use shorter patch cords.
    
• Two selectable filters (4012 type, 4072 type) derived from 2 versions of the original ARP 2600.
    
• DIN MIDI IN port.
    
• Pitch-bend, Modulation, and Portamento ON/OFF are controllable by MIDI messages received via USB or DIN.
    
• Normalized voltage: the trigger signal threshold required for ADSR activation through the S/H GATE jack has been reduced from 10V to 5V to make it easier to use in combination with other instruments such as volca and Eurorack modules.
    
• Improvements in attack and release time ratios.
    
• L/R stereo Jack output.
    
• Integrated speakers automatically deactivate when headphones are connected.
    
• Improved, smoother-gliding sliders.
    
• 10 mini-jack TS 50cm patch cables included.
