108C is the classic guitar string set from Aquila Corde Armoniche's Ambra 2000 series with normal tension. They are made with Rayon basses, silver-plated copper wound with a red core that deliver warm and percussive sounds, and Nylgut® trebles with a slightly different formulation that offer unique cantability.

The Ambra 2000 set was created following the desire to research gut-like sounds, now lost, but which made the guitar great. The set comes with two tension grades and consists of Nylgut® trebles with a slightly different formulation than usual (in order to achieve the greatest possible cantability, which is the main goal of this set) while for the Basses (which are silver-plated copper wound with a red core), named 'Rayon' by Aquila, a balance between metal and core has been sought to recreate a warm and percussive sound, similar to the natural silk basses of the past. The presence of more low frequencies (which are poorly absorbed) guarantees better projection in the concert hall.
