<h1 style="text-align: justify;">The 000-18 (2025) is a 000-shaped acoustic guitar from Martin & Co's "standard" series, made with a Spruce top, Mahogany back and sides, selected Hardwood neck, and Ebony fingerboard. It features GE-Scalloped bracing for increased brilliance and sound projection, a GE Modified Low Oval neck profile for a lower profile, and heel, neck, and bridge with more beveled edges for greater comfort, and Ebony bridge pins. It has a 44.45 mm nut width, a 633 mm scale length, and a gloss finish on the top, back, and sides.</h1><h2>Overview of the Martin & Co. 000-18 (2025)</h2><p style="text-align: justify;">With a distinctive vintage-inspired design and updated like the D-18 a few years ago, the 000-18 offers many of the features found in pre-war era Martin guitars. The 000-18, which features a beautiful spruce top with an aged tone, is paired with an authentic mahogany back and sides. The body is finished with black binding and completed with a gloss finish. The nickel open gear tuners are matched with a rosewood headstock, showcasing a large vintage-style Martin logo.<br />One of the main novelties of the 2025 Standard series is the use of Golden Era (GE) Sitka spruce bracing for the top, a detail also present in the Modern Deluxe series, which gives a more vintage and airy tone with enhanced sustain. The modified "Low Oval" GE neck profile maintains the classic shape but has been optimized to offer a vintage appeal. The fingerboard has been thinned and features rounded edges for greater comfort, while the string spacing at the nut has been perfected. The new GE "modern belly" bridge features softer, more comfortable angles. Standard Series guitars now come equipped with bone or ebony bridge pins, depending on the model.
