The capsules are available in three versions differing in polar pattern (cardioid, supercardioid, or omnidirectional) and are designed for quick replacement on any Microflex line model. They offer high sensitivity, wide frequency response, and accurate sound reproduction, making them suitable for a variety of applications in conference centers, courtrooms, and houses of worship. Microflex gooseneck microphones are available in various versions with different lengths and mounting types. Four models feature a switch and corresponding LED indicator, a unique feature of Shure Microflex microphones. Models with integrated bases, MX412D and MX418D, have a membrane button that can be programmed for various functions such as: push-to-talk, push-to-mute, toggle. Logic input and output allow them to interface with other external devices such as automatic microphone mixers, loudspeaker muting relays, or camera switchers.
