VTC stands for Vintage Tone Control (pull up on knob for total bypass).\n\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe preamp can be installed with the included control plate or mounted through a rear control cavity in either a 4-in-line or diamond pattern.\n\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eYour pickups connect via solderless connectors to the pan pot. The direction of the pan pot can easily be reversed using the pickup terminals.\n\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eInstallation requires a side jack and battery compartment. Shielding of the control cavity and pickup cavities is recommended when installing. We also recommend installation by a professional guitar technician or builder if routing and drilling for a battery compartment and\/or side jack is necessary.\n\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThis system is not compatible with EMGs or other active pickups that require something other than a 250K or 500K volume pot.
