It features GE-Scalloped bracing, which provides greater brightness and sound projection, a further lowered GE Modified Low Oval neck profile, and a more chamfered heel, neck, and bridge for greater comfort, with bone bridge pins. It has a nut width of 44.45 mm, a scale length of 645 mm, and a gloss finish on the top, back, and sides.

Overview of the OM-28 Ambertone (2025) by Martin & Co.

Compact, imposing, and with scalloped bracing, the OM-28 brings your sound to life, whether you're fingerpicking, strumming, or playing solo. A perfect balance across all six strings, the bold herringbone, East Indian rosewood, ebony, spruce, and vintage details give a classic look to a timeless sound.
One of the main novelties of the 2025 Standard series is the use of Golden Era (GE) Sitka spruce bracing for the top, a detail also present in the Modern Deluxe series, which provides a more vintage and airy timbre with enhanced sustain. The modified "Low Oval" GE neck profile maintains the classic shape but has been optimized to offer a vintage appeal. The fretboard has been thinned and features rounded edges for greater comfort, while the string spacing at the nut has been perfected. The new GE "modern belly" bridge features softer, more comfortable angles. Standard Series guitars are now equipped with bone or ebony bridge pins, depending on the model. Aesthetic updates include the elongated neck diamond, an angled cut nut, and a more articulated, vintage-style heel.

Specifications of the OM-28 Ambertone (2025) by Martin & Co.

Series: Standard
Top Color: 1933 Ambertone
Body Shape: 000-14 Fret
Top Finish: Gloss
Binding: Antique White
Top Inlay Material: Bold Herringbone
Top Material: Spruce
Back and Sides Finish: Gloss
Back Material: Indian Rosewood
Side Material: Indian Rosewood
Neck Finish: Satin
Neck Material: Selected Hardwood
Neck Profile: GE Modified Low Oval
Fretboard Material: Ebony
Fretboard Inlay Material: Abalone
Nut Width: 44.45 mm
Nut Material: Bone
Brace Material: Spruce
Brace Shape: GE-Scalloped
Brace Pattern: X Brace
Bridge Material: Ebony
Bridge Pin Material: Bone
Bridge Style: GE Modern Belly - Drop in Saddle
Saddle Material: Compensated Bone
Pickguard: Tortoise Pattern
Radius: 16"
Scale Length: 645 mm
Tuners: Nickel Open Gear
Electronics: No
Case: Molded Hardshell
Case Model: 12C630
Recommended Strings: Authentic Acoustic Lifespan 2.0 - Light (MA540T)

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1036/3633/6985/files/33-martin-co-om-28-ambertone-2025-06601357_0.jpg?v=1778527715
