The combination of Solid Cedar on the top and Ovangkol on the back and sides, the result of careful research, gives this instrument a very wide and always well-balanced tonal spectrum on every single string. A very important feature is the presence of a high-performance amplification system, the Fishman Flex Blend: consisting of a piezo and an internal condenser microphone, this system allows you to capture every nuance of the guitar thanks to the ability to gradually add the signal picked up by the microphone to the piezo signal, via a "blend" potentiometer. Among the controls, in addition to the output Volume and blend, there is a display tuner (activatable by pressing the volume potentiometer) and an EQ control that works in "mid-scooped" mode: when set to minimum, the signal is not equalized (flat), and increasing it gradually reduces the mid frequencies in favor of bass and treble, very convenient for obtaining a sound already "ready" for the mix. If the guitar should have feedback problems, a very common situation in acoustic settings, it is possible to invert the phase by pressing the EQ potentiometer. The combination of all these features makes the MIA A400e a suitable instrument for professional contexts, both in the recording studio and on stage.

STRENGTHS OF THE EKO GUITARS MIA A400e

Reduced body depth, particularly comfortable for women, petite individuals, or for playing while standing;

Satin finish on the neck to maintain the connection between the instrument and the musician, while the body retains the brilliance of a high-gloss finish;

For A models (Auditorium and A cutaway), nut width of 46mm and scale length of 630mm instead of 43mm/648mm;

Fishman Flex Blend with piezoelectric pickup, microphone, signal blending capability, tuner with mute function, anti-feedback, and tone control.

COMPARISON BETWEEN EKO GUITARS MIA SERIES MODELS

SPECIFICATIONS OF THE EKO GUITARS MIA A400e

Color: Natural

Body Shape: Auditorium

Top Material: Solid Cedar

Back and Side Material: 3-ply Laminated Ovangkol

Neck Material: Mahogany

Fretboard Material: Rosewood

Neck Shape: Eko Low C

Nut Width: 46 mm

Radius: 14”

Scale Length: 630 mm

Number of Frets: 20

Fret Type: 2.0mm x 1.0mm Silver/Nickel

Bridge Material: Rosewood

Body Finish: Gloss

Neck Finish: Satin

Machine Heads: Eko Vintage Open gear Butterbean

Electronics: Fishman Flex Blend (piezo + microphone)

Electronic Controls: Volume, EQ (mid scooped), Mic Blend, Phase Invert, Tuner

Case: Not Included

Recommended Strings: Eko Bronze 12-53 Heavy Set/6
