The combination of Solid Cedar on the top and Ovangkol on the back and sides, the result of careful research, gives this instrument a very broad and always well-balanced tonal spectrum on every single string. A very important feature is the presence of a very high-performance amplification system, the Fishman Flex Blend: consisting of a piezo and an internal condenser microphone, this system allows every nuance of the guitar to be captured thanks to the possibility of gradually adding the signal picked up by the microphone to the piezo signal, via a "blend" potentiometer. Among the controls, in addition to the output Volume and blend, there is a display tuner (activatable by pressing the volume potentiometer) and an EQ control that works in "mid-scooped" mode: when set to minimum, the signal is not equalized (flat), increasing it gradually reduces the mid frequencies in favor of lows and highs, which is very convenient for getting a sound that is already "ready" for the mix. In case the guitar experiences feedback issues, a very common situation in acoustic settings, it is possible to invert the phase by pressing the EQ potentiometer. The combination of all these features makes the MIA A400ce an instrument suitable for professional contexts, both in the recording studio and on stage.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE EKO GUITARS MIA A400ce

Reduced body thickness, particularly comfortable for girls, small people, or for playing while standing;

Satin finish on the neck to maintain intact contact between instrument and musician, while the body retains the splendor of a hi-gloss;

In A models (Auditorium and A cutaway), nut width of 46mm and scale length of 630mm instead of 43mm/648mm;

Fishman Flex Blend with piezoelectric pickup, microphone, blend possibility between signals, tuner with mute function, anti-feedback, and tone control.

COMPARISON BETWEEN EKO GUITARS MIA SERIES MODELS

SPECIFICATIONS OF THE EKO GUITARS MIA A400ce

Color: Natural

Body Shape: Auditorium Cutaway

Top Material: Solid Cedar

Back and Sides Material: 3-ply laminated Ovangkol

Neck Material: Mahogany

Fretboard Material: Rosewood

Neck Shape: Eko Low C

Nut Width: 46 mm

Radius: 14”

Scale Length: 630 mm

Number of Frets: 20

Fret Type: 2.0mm x 1.0mm Silver/Nickel

Bridge Material: Rosewood

Body Finish: Gloss

Neck Finish: Satin

Machine Heads: Eko Vintage Open gear Butterbean

Electronics: Fishman Flex Blend (piezo + microphone)

Electronic Controls: Volume, EQ (mid scooped), Mic Blend, Phase Invert, Tuner

Case: Not Included

Recommended Strings: Eko Bronze 12-53 Heavy Set/6
