When you roll back the volume on your guitar to clean up that tone, the sound often gets a bit too dark and the clean tones are not as good as the overdrive tone.With the EOU you can customize your cleaner tone with the four potentiometers. The Evolution Orange Underdrive works by lowering the midrange as that is where the overdrive is mainly located. You can dampen the input of the amp with the EOU's volume control and then set the bass and treble to adjust your clean sound. Controls:VOLUME: Sets the overall output level of the pedal.
