The RBO-20 is a preamp overdrive with a very warm sound. It is a pedal with a great dynamic response that can easily go from warm, semi-clean sounds to 60s\/70s arena rock crunch sounds. The surprising thing about the Rupert is that it provides the touch-sensitive dynamic response of a vintage tube amp. It makes even the sound of a small bass amp massive.
