Firstly, the Burstbucker™ 1 and Burstbucker 2 pickups are uncovered, and each features Double Classic White bobbins and standard Alnico 2 magnets. The second difference is in the finish, whose colors are \"vintage\" variants of the standard nitrocellulose lacquer finishes. Our standard gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finishes replicate those of newly manufactured 1950s models, while the full gloss of the vintage nitrocellulose lacquer finishes on the Les Paul Standard 50s Double Trouble models appear slightly faded compared to the standard versions, recalling the delicate aging that occurs over the years. Hand-spraying makes the burst patterns unique from guitar to guitar.\n\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eOf course, all the features that made the Les Paul Standard 50s models so popular, such as the solid, unchambered mahogany body with an AA figured maple top, the 50s vintage-style rounded mahogany neck, the 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with medium jumbo frets and trapezoid inlays, have been retained. The Les Paul Standard 50s Double Trouble is equipped with an ABR-1, the classic Tune-O-Matic™ bridge, an aluminum stopbar tailpiece, Vintage Deluxe tuners with Keystone buttons, and aged gold Top Hat knobs with pointers. The calibrated and uncovered Burstbucker™ 1 (neck) and Burstbucker 2 (bridge) pickups are internally identical to their standard Burstbucker counterparts, with the exception of the Double Classic White bobbins. They are handcrafted by the Gibson Pickup Shop, feature Alnico 2 magnets, and are hand-wired with logarithmic potentiometers and Orange Drop® capacitors. The Double Classic White bobbins and vintage finishes give the Les Paul Standard 50s Double Trouble a vintage-inspired elegance. Despite the vintage-look finish and affordable price, production is limited to only 500 guitars per colorway, ensuring limited availability.
