Ideal for guitarists who love strumming and perfect for live and studio settings.

OVERVIEW OF THE ALPS J450e BY EKO GUITARS

With its "Grand Auditorium" shape, the Alps is characterized by a deep and enveloping sound, typical nuances of jumbo-like guitars. The tonal landscape of this instrument is enriched by the Italian Spruce top combined with 3-ply laminated Koa back and sides. The 14th fret body joint allows for agile access to higher frets, a very useful feature for lead guitarists, considering that on an acoustic guitar, frets beyond the 15th are rarely reached. The Alps comes in a Natural color with a Glossy finish and features Eko Vintage Open Gear tuners. A decidedly important feature is the presence of a high-performance amplification system, the Fishman Flex Blend: composed of a piezo and an internal condenser microphone, this system allows to capture every nuance of the guitar thanks to the possibility of gradually adding the signal from the microphone to the piezo signal, via a "blend" potentiometer. Among the controls, in addition to the output Volume and blend, there is a display tuner (activatable by pressing the volume potentiometer) and an EQ control that works in "mid-scooped" mode: when set to minimum, the signal is not equalized (flat), as it is increased, the mid frequencies are gradually reduced in favor of lows and highs, very convenient for obtaining a sound already "ready" for the mix. If the guitar experiences feedback issues, a very common situation in acoustic settings, it is possible to invert the phase by pressing the EQ potentiometer.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE ALPS J450e BY EKO GUITARS

Generous body dimensions to evoke the European Alps to which the series is dedicated;

Rosette inspired by the altimetric profile of the European Alps, specifically the Italian Alps;

Top and internal bracing made of Solid Italian Spruce (100% genuine Italian Alpine Spruce);

Satin finish on the neck to maintain intact contact between instrument and musician, while the body retains the splendor of a hi-gloss;

Fishman Flex Blend with piezoelectric, microphone, blend capability between signals, tuner with mute function, anti-feedback, and tone control.

SPECIFICATIONS OF THE ALPS J450e BY EKO GUITARS

Color: Natural
Body Shape: Grand Auditorium
Top Material: Solid Italian Spruce
Back and Sides Material: 3-ply laminated Koa
Neck Material: Mahogany
Fretboard Material: Rosewood
Neck Shape: Eko Low C
Nut Width: 43 mm
Radius: 14”
Scale Length: 650 mm
Number of Frets: 20
Fret Type: 2.0mm x 1.0mm Nickel
Bridge Material: Rosewood
Body Finish: Gloss
Neck Finish: Satin
Tuners: Eko Vintage Open Gear
Electronics: Fishman Flex Blend
Electronic Controls: Volume, EQ (mid scooped), Mic Blend, Phase Invert, Tuner
Case: Not Included
Recommended Strings: Eko Bronze 12-53 MEDIUM SET/6
