Unlike Fluorocarbon strings, these strings definitely have excellent vibrato and remarkable tonal variation when played near the bridge and then towards the soundhole. Laboratory measurements have shown that Sugar strings have a power in Joules and sustain 18% and 24% higher respectively than Fluorocarbon strings. Thanks to the new treatment, Aquila Corde has managed to eliminate 90% of cases with the \"squeak\" effect present in previous versions.
